Libby

My name is Libby, and I have worked for OCOSC for about 3 years. I started at the Christchurch site, then on to Oldbury Court. Most recently I have moved to the newly opened Avanti Gardens site.

In my time I have enjoyed children practicing their Scottish accents, watched a blissfully unaware child kick a football away from a boy setting up to take a penalty, and listened to a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why a 5 year old boy will be 10 next birthday!

As well as being a playworker I am a dance teacher and performer, a facepainter, and a party host. I also work with fruit trees! So yes, you counted right: that is 5 jobs!

When I have time to myself I paint pictures on furniture, create puzzles and games, and go to events with my husband and daughter. Being creative and expressive are my favourite things, and seeing children do the same is absolute magic.

I have some fun ideas to bring to Avanti Gardens, mainly all of the above, and me and the children have come up with a list to try, including the jungle, animals, and cheese!
